Every 5 minutes, a box pops up saying internet explorer script error. I have tried reinstalling it and it didnt do anyhting. i am the only person using my computer. in desperate need of help.PLEASE GIVE ME AN ANSWER!!!!

3. Also click on Start and click on Search files and folder and try to search for ie.inf (search hidden files and folder)and right click on it and click on install. This should fix the issue.

4. If it still comes up then you need to put a check mark under disable script debugging and remove the check mark under "display notification about every script error"

I cant open internet explorer on my computer. it is my friends computer from wich i am typing.

it sometimes opens but it opens for about 5 minutes and then there is an error and it closes. i have also reported the error several times but no solution to the problem is displayed.

i cant live without it please help

1) Re-Install Windows (will take up a lot of time)

2) Re-Install Internet Explorer (i have given the download link in sources)

3) Download and install a better browser called Mozilla Firefox. It is more powerful than any other browser (as far as my experience says). I recommend installing Firefox (i have given the download link in sources)

Reporting the error will not give you a solution, it just goes into a microsoft data base. Paste the error contents in the question.. that will give me an idea as to what is causing it in the first place.
you cant do anythig to repair your internet explorer but you can install another browser. I recommend you Opera 9 Beta.

oyu could try to install internet explorer 7. this will replace the old one ...so the error will dissappear

if still having problems.. rather then installing Windows XP again, try using Mozilla or firefox for browser. They are very good and free.
Unless you are a devoted IE user, you could use Mozilla Firefox or Opera. I do know that Firefox has extensions that can add IE tabs in it, if you still want to use IE in some way. I don't know if Opera has that capability, but I'm sure it does.
Try downloading Mozilla Firefox, I had a similar problem and could not fix it.

Sometimes changing browsers is the only solution...

I am able to surf the net on Mozilla but as soon as I try to get onto Internet Explorer to go to certain websites it won't work. I've tried numerous websites and IE is still not working.

hope you are using windows XP and upgraded IE to version 7... if it's so, its very common, the latest IE (version 7) has so many problems especially with other laguages than English. please try using the IE version 6. Go to add/remove programs on control panel and remove that update of IE.

I think you are using Internet Explorer 7. I got this problem when I installed the 'Malicious software Removal tool' which IE says recommended during its setup. So uninstall IE7 from ur computer and install it again. DON'T tick the check box 'Install malicious software removal tool'.

Uninstalling IE7 : Open Control Panel from Start menu. Click Add or Remove programs. If you are not seeing IE7 in the list click on the check box at the top showing 'Show Updates'. Now scroll down and u can find IE7. If u want to remove it may show some files as installed after installing IE7. Just go for the Uninstall.

Check if you have the latest flash player or Java Virtual Machine. These games need Java virtual machine(JVM). Plus you need to put these sites ti trusted sites in order to give JVM permission to communicate with the site.
First what you can is check whether it is the same page which produces this error. Or it happens only on one website. In this case It can be a temporary bug on the actual website you are visiting. You can report it to the developers using contact us form. By the way most likely when you open a game in a new window, although it appears to you as a new window it is the same file on the server in this case it is in fact the same page producing the error. Take a note of the url address in the address line(if a window which pops up does not have url address line take a note of what shows in left botton corner of the main window when you put a mouse over the link to that new pop-up page - for msn games it is the same page).

Another thing you can do is try holding 'Ctrl' button on you key board and then clicking on the link.

You also might want to look through your browser settings (in service menu - pop-up blocker) - I am sorry mine is in a different language so not sure what all those options are called exactly. And check whether pop-up window blocker is enabled or disabled. Disable it for the website, but be carefull you don't want to disable it for all websites. Also note that all search bars on a browser (like those google search bars, yahoo search bars sitting on the browser normally below the url address have got built in pop-up blockers)

I have tried msn games you mentioned - they use javascript to open new window, so you might want to update your javascript plugin for the browser. It actually sounds like a javascript problem to me... just google javascript browser plug-in update and download it. Make sure you restart computer or at least browser after completing installation and make sure javascript is enabled in the browser settings (menu Services-browser options).

If all this does not work try upgrading to the latest IE and search for IE patches and installing them too. I know people complain a lot about IE but I personally like it too. Well nothing is perfect in this world and IE has been a good old friend of mine since my first internet trips 10 years back, so i am not getting rid of him that easy :)

the problem could be with the site you are trying to acsess,if not try after deleting temperory internet files in internet options if still doesn t work then the site you are trying to acsess may need some active x plug in,your computer may be stopping it due to the security settings you have chosen try tools%26lt;internet options%26lt;advanced%26lt; then ticking enable install on demand(internet explorer)

Mozilla Firefox might work, but then, it could get into a conflict, too!

Ok, hears yet another windows 3.1 related question; and before you ask, yes I do have a windows 3.1 and I dont want to upgrade!

The problem is when installing internet explorer 5.1 - the 16 bit virsion. It states that I dont have enough memory (even though I have 64MB). I did some research and found that you can bypass this error with a command line code - but for the life of me i can't remember what that was. I've looked and seached on google but no sucess. So, its a long shot but if you know the code please help.

The shortest cut 2 internet explorer is beside ur start icon.
go to start/search/ and search for files. Enter the word "explorer" it may come up with alot of words with explorer but the one you are looking for has the Explorer icon. Try clicking on them till you find the right one. If that does'nt work reinstall explorer from www.microsoft.com
Some keyboards have a similar thing in control panel.

Hey,

Recently my other computer has started playing up. When I open Internet Explorer it shows my homepage after a longer that normal loading period. From here when I try to do some things like clicking on a link or entering an URL into the address bar, the window freezes and dosn't load, when I press Alt + Ctrl + Delete and get into task manager It says "Not Responding" next to the window of IE I have opened. Then from here I press end task now and a window comes up saying "End Now" so I click it and it closes the window of IE I had open and another window pops up saying "Send error report" and "Dont send error report" I always click the latter. I have read some forums about this problem and alot of people reply by saying "Download this" but I CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING as when I click on a link or enter an URL it crashes again. Please can someone help me.! I shall be very thankful!

You should check what softwares are running by ctrl+alt+del and End Task to programs you know you don't need to be running. (The point here is to only have the programs needed to run your computer) You may have hidden programs running in the background that may be causing the problems.

You may be having firewall malfunction problems. It may be blocking the usage of files needed to run iexplorer.

Try turning automatic updates to off. You can do this through control panel. You can also End Task to the svchost.exe running at high cpu usage when booting up.

You may also want to do a full virus check, spyware check, adware check. These programs can be found through the link from above (if you can get to it).

I wouldn't suggest to start in safe mode, only because many softwares nowadays will not run in safe mode but some well. But try the above first, and think about safe mode as a last choice. Even getting the program HijackThis, you may end up spending weeks figuring it all out.
Try go to Microsoft update website and update ur IE, if that still can't fix the problem, try to disable some "addon" which can be found if you click on tools then manage addon then disable the thing you don't need. It might be caused by some spyware, malware or virus, try to scan your computer. If that still doesn't work, reinstall IE. AND IF THAT STILL DOESN"T WORK, get Firefox

Why does Internet Explorer close my system down completely when I hit the X button?

I open an e-mail; it's nothing important, I want to close it out (by hitting the red 'X' box) and every single time I get a posted message from Internet Explorer or Dr. Watson PostMortem Debugger telling me it has to shut down, click 'send' or 'don't send' error report. I hit 'don't send' and the entire system shuts down and takes me to the home page, where I have to log onto the Internet again, log onto Yahoo Mail, etc. If the blue-circle 'back' button is an option I can back out, but once the 'back' button is no longer an option I have no choice but to hit the red 'close' box and I'm right back where I started! Is this a computer-virus related problem, or could it have its origins in my Comcast cable hook-up, which has a weak signal and which is (supposedly) in the process of being upgraded by installing new cable wires. Any help anyone can offer me will be greatly appreciated.

I like using Mozilla Fire Fox as a browser and Internet Explorer on my computer keeps slowing my machine down with pop ups and a lot of error reports. Your help is appreciated!

one way to see if it is your tool bar's doing it, go to tools Internet options, advance and un-tick enable third-party browser extensions, this will stop add tool bars from coming in you can turn them back on, this will let you see if it is the Add-ons slowing down your computer

I think you are using IE6.

Try to use IE7.

Use FireFox optionally.

Try to clean your drive regularly. (virus, spyware, registery key, temp folder, cookies, IE temp folder)

just try to get a restart cd from ebay. or just go and throw one thing away like a file built in the computer and it will ask you to remove programs and select on the one you want to uninstall. or to fix it try norton utilities.
give your computer a rest. shut the whole thing down for 5-10 minuites. restart it. see if that helps!
Reinstall IE. I would also suggest going into your program files wherever your java is located and see if you can find the uninstall file and manually uninstall it. If anything, you can just delete it and re-download it--both the Java and IE.
Mine did it to, but then reloaded.

Do you have activ -x ?

Internet explorer has been closing itself randomly, sometimes it will only close the window im working in, sometimes it will close them all. and it doesnt give any error message or anything. i just blink and everythings gone. what would cause this?

some extra information incase its helpful.. for antivirus i have AVG free edition.. and i ran ad-aware se , and spybot - search %26amp; destroy. i also run disk clean up everyother day or so.

I have had also some problems with Internet Explorer and followed the same path to solve the problem but to no avail. Out of desparation and irritation I just do not make use of Internet Explorer and somehow it seems to work. I have a suspicion that somewhere in the Microsoft empire , someone is fiddling with system, to the detriment of users.
Try updating internet explorer to IE7. If that doesn't work, download Mozilla.

What's with the internet explorer? Is it the ONLY web browser in the whole world, or something? Use a different web browser, like Firefox or Netscape. Those are the two good ones I know of. There are other web browsers. Look around.

1) Delete cookies

2) Delete files

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

This just started happening yesterday. I will be in the middle of something and a box comes up that says internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. You know this box, the one that says send an error report or don't. I ran a virus scan and it was negative. I ran disk defrag. I cleaned off my desktop. I cleaned off my system tray. I emptied my recycle bin and did a disk cleanup. I even went into add/remove programs and deleted stuff we didn't use anymore. Does anyone have any more ideas?

A last resort would be to uninstall IE7 from ad/remove programs.

Reverts back to an version IE6.

Run a Microsoft Live OneCare, "full scan" and restart before reinstalling IE7.

recovery disk might help, but whatever problem caused it, is still there. sounds like either a software conflick or more likely, malware or spyware.
if you have the original installation cd, go to start%26gt; run and type in sfc /scannow (there is a space between the sfc and /scannow). This is the system file check in XP...it will scan your protected windows files for any changes or corruption and if it finds any, it will ask you to insert the cd....then it will copy the files from the cd and replace the bad ones.....once finished, you'll need to go to windows update and do a little updating

whenever i use internet, whether mozilla or IE, pop ups ALWAYs pop up. it's really annoying, i was sure to block ALL pop ups on the options for BOTH browsers, AND i have the AVG free edition virus scanning thing, and in the virus vault i have a whole bunch of virus 's that i can't delete cuz there's some sort of "error" and the virus itself's name is " IE something.." so i know that i have some sort of internet explorer virus. i don't even use internet explorer, i only use mozilla, and still the IE pop ups keep coming, anyone know how to solve this problem?

for some reason, certain links don't work sometimes on my IE. for example, on myspace there's a little link you can click to "update your status" and mood... i can click it a thousand times and it doesn't work. if i go into my internet options and mess around with it a whole lot, SOMETIMES it works. or sometimes all it takes is restarting my computer... but i have done both about 10 times today and those links still don't work. same with facebook links (all of them)... and with my jcpenney login button. it won't let me login. at the bottom of my internet explorer window, where right now it says "done" and shows the e symbol... it will say something like "read: script error"... somebody pleeeeaaaase help me. i can't even pay my bills online.

I was trying to type orkut.com on my internet explorer address bar on one of my college comps... but before i completed... the window closed and an error message appeared saying... It sounds like your computer has been spammed.

You might consider the following steps:

1. Run an antivirus program

2. Run adware programs

3. Inform your adminstrator
I tried it and it seems fine, had no problems. Either try using a different browser, opera or firefox, as these are more secure and you can block any nasties, and/or check for spyware, if you dont already have it, try adaware spyware remover, free, do a full scan. Theres also a ccleaner that will remove any unwanted cookies, temp files/folders.

- PDF files work just fine outside IE.

Type in what you want as your home back and it will go there instead

If you want to revert to IE6:

Control Panel

Add or Remove Programs icon

Find and highlight IE7

Remove button should appear

Almost everyone has a problem with IE 7, especially if you downloaded it from Yahoo!. To go back to IE6, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel then Add/Remove Programs. Click the box at the top to get the current version. When that loads, find IE7, and uninstall it. Then restart your computer and IE6 and your settings will be back.
You could have waited for some time. IE 7 is still a beta version. Nobody is satisfied with it. Use Mozilla instead.
I had the same problem with it if you have window xp you can go into system restore and restore the computer back to before you downloaded Internet explorer seven. that fixed the problem for me. I hope this helped.
I've downloaded IE7 from the WINXP upgrade and this works fine. Try it out. And yes it will ask you to customise but that's just easy. Its 2 step then you can browse.
Save yourself a ton of headaches and switch to opera or mozilla. Internet Explorer is crap. Also you can have tons of tabs instead of seperate different pages open. Think about it. Sorry, I don't know how to tell you to uninstall o that you can go back to the previous one you had. Good luck.
with IE open, click tools drop down box (top right), click internet options, back space whatever is displayed as the home page,then type in what your home page is,eg, www.yahoo.co.uk,click apply%26gt;ok buttons. see if that changes to your home page,if you want to revert back to IE 6 it should be in add/remove programs,uninstall IE 7 windows should revert back to IE6,hope this helps.

I installed it okay last week, Firstly you must have XP home edition and Serivce Pack 2 installed. If you have these once you have installed IE7 before it displays error try clicking on house symbol it should go to your homepage. If not try clicking on Tools symbol or symbol next to it with question mark, drop down menus. It maybe one of a couple of things firewall blocking internet connection, you modem is not on, you need to set your options to what they were before you installed IE7. I was give a choice when I installed IE7 in my setup.

Hope this helps dude, once you get the hang of in IE7 is a great piece of sofware update. Yahoo beta works a treat as well.

I had this problem some time ago, and many others have reported it as well. I deleted it, and did a system restoration, to an earlier date. This worked for me.
I don't understand why you are having problems with it. First off IE7 is not in beta - it has been officially released. If you are getting script errors I would advise going to tools %26gt; internet options then the security tab then resetting all of your security options back to either medium-high or the default. IE7 has a great deal of security benefits over IE6 so it comes recommended from me.

It sounds as if you have the same setup I had about eight months back. I had to just get rid of it and replace the whole thing because nothing supports ME anymore. Including Microsoft.

I just bought a new HP computer and it has Windows Vista. I am a real estate appraiser and I have to print a lot of papers directly from the Internet. I have used Internet Explorer 7 before and like it, however, when I try to install it, it works fine until a window is closed and then it closes ALL open IE windows, giving me an error, anyone know why?

I have since removed it, and am using IE6 again as it seems more stable.

It is your firewall.

Uninstall Zone Alarm. Do not reinstall it. You may have to manually delete certain settings that Zone Alarm puts in your registry as well. You can read up about it on the interweb.

It it either a parent control, which you can only change on administration, an ad-ware software- like spam control that is blocking everything, not just pop-ups, and my first guess would of been firewall. I would try to sigh in with a different user on your desktop and see if that works, if not restart your computer.
Cable means you're connected to the inter net the minute you turn on your computer, I have cable too, try to install IE7, it is working fine on my computer.
If you know how to use a /ping @echo code, then I dunno, sounds like somethins really messed up. That is what Backups are for. We've had some reports of an IE Script error that pops up when you are trying to run a scan. We have found in one case that an key in the registry is preventing scripts from running on the local machine. If you run in to a script error and have a version of IE 7 installed try going to regedit and looking for the following key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\In... Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_LOC...

"iexplore.exe"=dword:00000000

You can either delete it or set the value to 1, we have found that both work. And then try running the scanner again.

Everytime I click a link in Internet Explorer, a new window pops up. It's always blank and vanishes almost instantly. Firstly my internet explorer does work. When i go online thru dial-up and click on the application it comes and and another box comes up saying to end task and It asks whether i want to send an Error Report: that basic message that pops up when something is closing without reason. This happens right away. I put in the windows disc that came with my computer to unistall and reinstall a new I.E. application and everything but it still doesn't work. What should i do?

Well, your pretty much screwed without a decent virus/spyware program. Thats probly whats causing it. They only way to fix it is getting a virus/spyware removal program. Norton backed up with XoftSpy is really good.
Regarding IE - remove it from your PC and use Firefox browser. It is 100 times better and safer to use.

Regarding Rebooting your pc - make sure you write down missing component, then when you boot up go to the internet and google it. Then download it on your pc and it should resolve problem for you. Probably some registry got screwed up or some dlls are missing.
It truly sounds like your computer has a corrupted operating System....the only way to fix that is to do a complete reload.... Just insert the Windows CD that came with your computer. when you first turn on your computer, hit either F1 F2 or the delete button.this will enter what is called setup or BIOS...... In there, you want to find something that says something about Boot Priority. You want to make your CD ROM or DVD-ROM or CD Burner your first boot device. Then hit the ESC button.it will ask you if you want to Save changes to CMOS. YES YOU WANT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then it will restart.. You have to watch after this... it will say... PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM CD....YES hit a key at this time...it will then go through windows setup.. when you come to the section where it askes what partition you would like to install windows on, at that point, you want to delete the partition and create a clean one. The first thing you need to do is stop the viruses from working. Your anti virus software is just not good enough.

1. Uninstall all anti virus and and toolbars that detect spyware and ad ware. These programs put a virus on your PC to coerce you into buying their product - and they take up a fair amount of space.

2. Go to start and run msconfig. This will bring up your start menu options. Deselect everything in the Service and Startup tabs - except for Microsoft programs and the ones you need for your modem/connection to the web. You'll have to reboot your PC, but this stop the viruses from loading.

3. After you've rebooted, go to Limewire.com and download Norton anti Virus. Follow the instructions to install and get it registered. Disconnect your modem

4. Do a full system scan. Norton will want to reboot. After rebooting, Norton will want to do another scan. After this scan, reboot your PC and reconnect your modem.

5. Norton will want to update its anti virus software. Go to LiveUpdate and let Norton update.

6. Run msconfig again and select a Normal startup. You'll have to reboot.

7. Do another full system scan. Your system should now be free of viruses, fully protected and you have a registered, functioning copy of Norton Anti Virus.

Perhaps you would be better off getting rid of the viruses and spware causing your IE problems.
you have to fix the ie problem as firefox will have problems at some levels of the software as they use same networking software layers.

For some reason starting yesturday night the computer started acting really slow. I ran a virus scan through Norton Anti-Virus and it detected one item and resolved it. Now whenever I turn the computer on the only thing I can do is log on to internet explorer and then all of the icons on the desktop disappear. I can't get into any of my folders or anything. If someone knows what could be causing this I would really appreciate a answer back.

Oh one more thing after the computer 1st turns on a error message saying "Error in: C:\Users\Esko\AppData\Local\Temp|ontjmaa... entry:run" keeps popping up and that has never happened before.

Unfortunately there's no easy way to go back, your most likely infected with more than one virus and I'm sure Norton deleted a necessary file thinking it was doing you a favor, and now your going to have to reinstall windows. easy. don't use microsoft internet explorer. it is full of security holes and pretty slow. i use mozilla firefox and tell all of my friends to use it too because it is so much better. much safer, tons of customizations that can be downloaded (think local weather on the status bar, RSS (blog) updated bookmarks, tabbed browsing-open several websites in one window and lots of other stuff). almost every computer magazine recommends it over internet explorer also. it's also not too bad of a download to install and automatically imports all of your internet explorer bookmarks.

Download the installation file for Internet Explorer from microsoft. After that, remove IE from Add/Remove programs, then Windows components.

Everytime I try to download a picture from my computer to an online classified ad the picture will go through the whole loading process and once it has loaded will open to a new window saying "Internet explorer could not disply page" Then I will X the page to close then it says at the top of the window "Blank Page" after several minutes of being froze like that will finally close but then a small windows box comes up reading there is a windows error and there is an option to send error report or not to send.. 1. Empty your cache

I would not go to the trouble of reporting it as it gets back to them one way or another -updates scan probably!

You need to run a full AntiSpyware scan and Antivirus scan in Safe mode as this stops the beggars from loading at boot up - this is probably what is causing your browser to close -eradicate-eradicate-eradicate.

In the prompt that tells you to report this error to Microsoft, there should be a button "send error report". Press that.

To rectify the problem you're having with Internet Explorer, go to Microsoft update web site and download and install the newest version of IE.

I can connect to internet explorer, uTorrent, and even Firefox but I cant connect to AIM or with FTP. I am on vista. I tried different AIM versions, all failing. I was setting up and FTP account with armadax keylogger and got an error message saying 'FTP ser could not be reached'. The information entered was correct. I am on a laptop connecting wirelessly (if it matters). I was told to change third-party firewall settings by someoine on yahoo answers once. I couldnt fing AIM on this list o programs to unblock. I was just trying to allow ports on the router on the main computer. I don't know if I have to do anything like that.

-Firewall is off

-I am very close to router

-I dont think Norton (my only security program) is blocking it.

I had the same problem, not with AIM, but FTP.

My Wireless DSL Modem was blocking FTP by defualt.

1. Connect to gateway

cmd

ipconfig

figure out what your gateway is?

Plug that IP into the your internet browser and enter password

Find your firewall settings on gateway device and add FTP

Save settings

Check ur proxy/firewall settings...
I probably need more information to help. Please confirm that your Windows Firewall is off and your Norton Firewall is off. Please be aware that having both turned off can be dangerous so only do it to test the problem.
This is due to the firewall. Firewalls block certain ports.

For example, FTP is traditionally port 21,

but HTTP (world wide web) is traditionally port 80.

For reference, you can look up common ports here:

the best thing you can do is simply unblock the blocked ports.

If you are not sophisticated enough to do that; then disable the firewall each time you run the desired internet application.

If you can't figure that one out either, you can always uninstall the firewall...

Note-- various versions of Norton antivirus automatically come with a firewall, so you should definitely check the version you have.

Make sure you save the file as filename.HTM or filename.HTML. Go to My Documents and double click it and IE should launch and display the document as a webpage. You don't need to have IE already running.

I think you are ahead of yourself. Notepad is an HTML Editor program. When you "open the web on the browser", you are supposed to be opening the WEB PAGE ON THE BROWSER. First of all,I don't consider IE 7 an upgrade.I downloaded it when it first came out and had so many problems with it that I change back to what I had.Perhaps in the future they will have it fixed but in the meantime I will not use it.I know a lot of people who have had the same problems,and are of the same opinion as my self.Also Yahoo anti virus (Norton) is a piece of junk.It is hard to believe that Yahoo would have something like the Yahoo anti virus.

Ditch it, get Firefox, and prepare to have little or no problems and better browsing. Either that or attempt to reinstall IE and see if that fixes the problem.

This seems to be a recurring problem with Yahoo Mail Beta. I too have experienced this several times.

Sometimes, I can clear all browser cache and Yahoo cookies files and the problem goes away. Other times that does not work.

I also fixed the problem before by upgrading my Java version.

Unfortunately there is not an easy, cut and dried solution to the problem. Most everyone here will tell you to simply clear browser cache and history files and reboot. Honestly, that does work sometimes, but not every time.

if ur using IE 6 download IE 7 because 7 is alot stable or reinstall it again your best bet is 'using firefox because its alot more stable it dont take forever to load and u wont get viruses and much more faster

This problem occurs on my Windows Vista Premium Edition computer. Everytime I start up my computer an error message pops up that says Windows Explorer needs to restart. (or something of that nature). NOT WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER, JUST WINDOWS EXPLORER. I can click look online for help and restart or just click restart. No matter what I click on it restarts and I have about 5 seconds to do anything and it just pops back up again. I cannot perform any actions or open any folders on my computer because within that 5 seconds when the message pops up again it exits out of any program I can get into in that time span. Does anyone know how to fix this? I see that a lot of people are having this problem. I also noticed that some anti-spyware program downloaded on my compter without my permission and I think that has something to do with it but I don't have enough time to delete the program because it will just exit out of it.

I would say that spyware program has something to do with your problem.

When it restarts, after the very first screen goes away (before the windows logo is displayed) start hitting F8. If the logo appears, you've missed your opportunity so turn off the machine and try it again.

What you're looking for is a menu to come up where you can select Safe Mode. Go into Safe Mode. Don't be scared because it looks really different, because it will, BUT you can then go into your Control Panel and remove whatever software you need to and/or run any kind of spyware scan or anti-virus scan.

Then when you're done, just restart the computer. If that menu comes up again, just tell it to go into Normal Mode and then it will, or at least should, go right into Windows.

Don't use Internet explorer.Its very vulnerable to spywares and adwares etc.That is why u r getting those error messages as some unwanted files have entered ur computer. i would say use mozilla firefox instead.Its much better plus has more features.

Hi whenever I try to open up the internet, it gives me a problem pop up and when i click don't send(or send error report) it closes the internet. it used to work on the 3rd try of openening it but right now i tried openning it 12times and it keeps on giving me a problem.

lately i'm starting to lose my patience because of this.

i was able to open up the internet when i went to mcafee personal firewall and looked at the summary of blocked/allowed programs. and right clicked internet explorer and clicked on get more information, then it opened up internet without the pop up.

i also tried blocking internet error on mcafee but it didn't work..

Do you mean that you are opening the application called "internet explorer" ?
